Olivia Munn, John Mulaney share first photos of new baby

Actress Olivia Munn and her boyfriend, comedian John Mulaney, on Friday shared the first photos of their recently born son.

The child was born Nov. 24, People reported, citing a source close to the couple.

“Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney,” Mulaney, 39, wrote in a caption of a photo of the newborn posted Friday on Instagram. “He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays.”

In a separate post Friday, Munn, 41, called Malcolm her “Golden Ox baby” and shared holiday greetings.

Mulaney announced that he and Munn were expecting a child on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in September. He split with his wife of seven years earlier in the year after a drug relapse and two stints in rehab, according to CNN and The Washington Post.

Mulaney said on “Late Night” that he and Munn, who he met during Meyers’ wedding in 2013, began dating in the spring.

“It is a very, very lucky thing to have met this woman,” he said. “It’s been very incredible. And she’s kind of held my hand through that hell. And we’re having a baby together.”

In an appearance last month on the “Today” show, Munn said she felt excited but also scared and nervous about becoming a new mom.

“Every day the feelings are just kind of rotating through,” Munn said. “I came home recently to a bunch of boxes and I’m looking at everything I have to open up and it’s just, I mean -- it’s overwhelming. I know this is a small thing, but I just don’t know how many of each item I need. Like, how many blankets does a baby need? Like, truly. Like, I wish somebody could tell me.”
