The death certificate was posted by the National Records of Scotland, and lists her death at Balmoral Castle at 3:10 p.m. local time on Sept. 8. Elizabeth II was 96 at her death, and was Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.

The death certificate lists only “old age” as the cause of death, with no contributing factors.

The announcement of the queen’s death came at 6:30 p.m. local time, six hours after a statement from Buckingham Palace saying that doctors were concerned about the queen’s health, Reuters reported.

The timing of the queen’s death indicates that she died while many members of the royal family were still en route to see her, The Guardian reported. King Charles III, Camilla, the queen consort, and Princess Anne were already at Balmoral because of previously scheduled engagements.

The Prince of Wales, Earl and Countess of Wessex and Duke of York arrived at Aberdeen Airport at 3:50 p.m. local time and reached Balmoral just after 5 p.m., The Guardian reported. The Duke of Sussex arrived just before 8 p.m. local time.

The queen’s death certificate was formally filed in Aberdeenshire on Sept. 16, officials said. The death was registered by her daughter, Princess Anne, Reuters reported.
