The first trailer for a new documentary focused on Anthony Bourdain promises to tell his life story, “in his own voice and in the way he indelibly impacted the world around him,” NME reported.
The film was made by Oscar-winner Morgan Neville and used not only archival video, but also home videos of Bourdain. It also includes new interviews from friends and those he worked with.
The feature-length documentary will hit theaters July 16. It will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 11, Rolling Stone reported.
Bourdain died in June 2018 by suicide.
