SURFSIDE, Fla. — Rescuers recovered four more victims, raising the death toll to 90 from a South Florida condominium collapse.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said 71 of the victims have been identified and their families notified. Another 31 people are still missing.
“Our hearts and minds are always with those who we’ve lost and the families who are grieving, and those who are still waiting,” Levine Cava said.

Crews have removed 14 million pounds of debris while searching for victims.

Miami-Dade Fire Chief Alan Cominsky said it was unclear when efforts would end.
“It’s a slow process,” he said.
