The extra cash will go to hourly store and service center employees who work any weekend day between Nov. 20 and Dec. 19, on Dec. 24 or on Dec. 26. Some employees at the company’s headquarters will also get an extra $2 for each hour worked on those days, according to Target.

Workers in supply chain positions will also be eligible for extra $2 hourly for each shift worked in a two-week period between Oct. 10 to Dec. 18. The exact timing will vary based on where employees work, company officials said.

“This team continues to be at the heart of our strategy,” Target’s chief human resources officer, Melissa Kremer, said Tuesday in a letter to Target employees. “You have shown up consistently for our guests and one another with a tremendous amount of care and we know this busy holiday season will be no different. This is just one more way of expressing our deep gratitude for your significant contributions.”

The announcement comes as Target looks to hire 100,000 seasonal store employees and 30,000 supply chain workers ahead of the holiday season. The company offers a minimum starting pay of $15 per hour and an education-assistance program aimed at recruiting talent.

Last month, Target announced it plans to offer employees 5 million more hours to work over the holiday shopping season, amounting to an additional $75 million in pay.
