WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday evening on Lincoln Terrace in Winter Garden.
Investigators say the victim, identified only as a man in his 60s, was sitting on his own porch just before 9 p.m. when he was approached by one or more people who tried to rob him.
Police say there was some kind of struggle and the victim was shot. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.
The shooting does not appear to be gang-related, according to Winter Garden Police.
No one else in the home was injured.
