Predators change ownership, will stay in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Predators Managing Partner Brett Bouchy has sold his majority interest to David Pearsall, a businessman from Connecticut. Pearsall has been one of the Predators minority owners since 2009.

The sale was approved by the Arena Football League Thursday afternoon and is effective immediately.

In an email to WFTV Sports Anchor Joe Kepner, Predators Chief Operating Officer Darrell Harbin said the team will "remain in Orlando permanently."

Bouchy had been with the team from 1996-2007, then again since 2009.

Before the season started, the Predators promised their fans they would have a winning record. Harbin also said that money back guarantee will still be honored as well.

Orlando is currently 6-10, but has the third best record in the American Conference with two games to play in the season.
