ORLANDO, Fla. -- The United States Men’s National team blanked El Salvador 1-0 Monday night at Exploria Stadium in Orlando.
With the win, the Americans advance to the Nations League semifinals in June in Las Vegas. They also improve to 6-0-0 all-time at Exploria Stadium.
Ricardo Pepi scored the lone goal of the match in the 62nd minute to give the United States the win. He also becomes the third youngest American to score six goals for the national team. Monday’s goal was his third in two games after scoring twice in a 7-1 win at Grenada on Friday.
The win extended the USA’s undefeated streak against El Salvador to 22 straight matches.
