Two dead after motorcycle crashes in east Orlando, troopers said.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A man and woman are dead after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in east Orange County Saturday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

William Francis, 24 of Orlando, and Brittney Barrieau, 23 of Orlando, were riding a motorcycle east on Lake Underhill Road when an SUV turning left from Pinar Drive pulled in front of them, troopers said.

The crash happened around 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Lake Underhill Road and Pinar Drive, troopers said.

Francis and Barrieau died at the scene, troopers said. They were wearing helmets, according to the crash report.

The driver of the SUV, 60-year-old Cynthia Mann, was uninjured, troopers said.

The crash is still under investigation, troopers said, and charges are pending.
