ORLANDO, Fla. — Scattered thunderstorms have returned to Central Florida on Friday evening.
Storms are bringing lightning and some much-needed, heavy rain to metro Orlando.

Rain and storms will periodically pass through the area late into the evening.
More than an inch of rain has fallen in some spots, and more will be possible through midnight.

Terry said we could see more storms Saturday afternoon but Sunday will be a bit drier.
Looking ahead, the rain will stick around in Central Florida. Many days next week will have a 30% chance of rain.
