Hurricane Larry is still a Category 3 storm as of Sunday morning and will remain in the Atlantic, Channel 9 meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said.
Locally, Larry will increase our surf this week as well as our rip current threat as swells head our direction, Crimi said.

Crimi is also monitoring Invest 91L over the Yucatán peninsula. No real organization is likely this weekend, she said. But next week, when it’s in the Central Gulf, conditions become more conducive for development.
