ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s beginning to feel a lot like summer as afternoon thunderstorms move through parts of metro Orlando.
A quick downpour is passing over downtown Orlando.

The storm will move eastward, arriving at the eastern portion of the metro by 5 p.m.
By 6 p.m., the storm should move off of the west coast of Brevard County.

The rain will be hit or miss, bypassing some neighborhoods in Central Florida.
Channel 9 Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry and meteorologist George Waldenberger will continue to monitor the storms in Severe Weather Center 9.

Temperatures will reach the low 80s Tuesday.
Another front will move into Central Florida on Wednesday, which will drop temperatures through the weekend.

By the weekend, high temperatures will be in the upper 60s.
