The Rivers Edge Fire, located near Merritt Island/Titusville, has been burning since Monday.
On Tuesday, authorities had to perform another prescribed burn to put the fire out.

According to the Southeast Region of the U. S. Fish and Wildfire Service Fire Management Division the fire is 90 percent contained and little fire activity is expected Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
It's now 90% contained and little fire activity is expected after sunset with minimal activity tomorrow as well.
