COCOA, Fla. — The city of Cocoa's Utilities Department has lifted the boil water notice for the northern parts of Brevard's barrier islands, officials announced Saturday.
The area affected included the barrier islands and Merritt Island south to the Pineda Causeway.
Water was shut off Thursday to beach-side customers Thursday evening before Hurricane Matthew made landfall.
