Expect widespread temperatures in the middle 30s overnight at most sites West of US Hwy One, with lower 30s in traditionally colder and wind-sheltered locations. Lows along the Intracoastal waterway and coastal barrier islands should range around 37 to 45 degrees. Expect patchy frost to develop inland from US Hwy One anytime from around 2 A.M. through 8 A.M. Wednesday morning. Persons with cold sensitive plants may need to cover or bring them indoors, along with ensuring small pets not used to the colder temperatures are adequately cared for. Cold weather shelters may be open in your location tonight. Check with your local county emergency management for locations and operating hours of shelters.
