Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild
The Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens brings the culture, art and beauty of traditional lantern festivals to Central Florida through Jan. 12. This evening experience features more than 30 larger-than-life illuminated sculptures depicting animals, plants and traditional Chinese elements. In addition to the hand-made LED lanterns, festival attendees will get to enjoy local food and beverage options, live music and authentic artisan crafts nightly.

Light up UCF is a free to attend event that features ice skating, a world-class choreographed light show, free holiday movies, live entertainment and more. The Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour offers hourlong guided cruise off the beaten path and through three of the seven lakes and two, narrow man-made canals on the tranquil Winter Park chain. Admission is $14 for adults, $7 for children ages 2 through 11 and free for children under 2. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, and fares can only be paid in cash or check.
