MELBOURNE, Fla. — Seven suspects are facing charges Thursday after police conducted a reverse prostitution bust in Melbourne.

Officers of the Melbourne Police Department Special Operations Unit were targeting 'Johns' trying to solicit prostitutes. The bust is part of an ongoing effort to crack down on prostitution in the city, according to police.
Johnny M. Hunter, Jordan F. Paci, Jorge A. Pop, James J. Bauman, Richard Smith, Donna L. Rader, and another man listed as John Doe, were arrested on Wednesday.
Smith, Bauman, Doe, and Pop were arrested on charges of solicitation for prostitution. Hunter and Paci face charges of sale of cocaine and Oxycodone. Radar faces charges of sale of cocaine, possession of Cocaine with intent to sell and possession of paraphernalia.
