Bomb Threat Shuts Down Orlando Walmart

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Fire Department shut down a Walmart for almost two hours Tuesday morning. The store on Semoran Boulevard near Lake Margaret received a bomb threat just before 9:00am.

The call came into the ladies department. The fire department evacuated the store for a search and brought in bomb-sniffing dogs, but found nothing.

Everyone was allowed back in just before 11:00am.

Orlando police say they will try to trace the call and find out who made it.
