BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Coast Guard had to rescue a boy from the Carnival Dream cruise ship on Monday.
The cruise was headed to Puerto Rico from Port Canaveral when the captain called for help.
Officials said the boy was bleeding internally and needed immediate medical attention.
The Coast Guard flew the child, his mother, and a cruise ship nurse to a hospital in Puerto Rico.
His name has not been released and his condition is unknown.
