VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla — The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at New York Ave. in Deland and the eastbound onramp of I-4.
Trooper says the crash happened around 11:45 a.m. between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist died on the scene.
According to FHP, the motorcyclist was traveling east on New York Ave., when another vehicle driving westbound attempted to make a lefthand turn when the two collided.
Witness tell FHP the motorcycle was driving over the posted speed.
