ORLANDO, Fla. — UCF Football’s 2021 season opening game against Boise State has been delayed due to lightning in the area.
Kickoff was scheduled for just after 7 p.m. at The Bounce House Thursday night.

According to updates from the team’s twitter feed, as of 7:45 p.m., kickoff was delayed by 45 minutes because of lighting within an eight-mile radius of the stadium.

Once the severe weather clears, fans will be allowed another 45 minutes to re-enter the stadium.
The current estimated kickoff time is 9:45 p.m.
