Car Crashes Into Biscuits 'N' Gravy Restaurant

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A car crashed into a restaurant Wednesday morning in Port Orange. The vehicle crashed through the front door of the Biscuits 'n' Gravy restaurant on South Nova Road (see map) .

Paul Davis Restoration was on scene Wednesday afternoon, along with Port Orange Fire Rescue, attempting to stabilize the building before A & A Wrecking removed the car.

Eyewitness News learned that the car pulled into the shopping center, but never stopped, and then crashed into the restaurant. The driver was not hurt, but one customer was transported to Halifax Port Orange Medical Center with minor injuries. Investigators said the person injured was not hit by the car, but possibly hit by debris from the crash.

The names of the people involved in the incident have not been released.

Eyewitness News learned that the driver actually got out and had breakfast after the whole fiasco.
