ORLANDO, Fla.,None — Police say a bouncer at a downtown Orlando bar has died after he was stabbed there around 1:30am Saturday.
Orlando police officers responded to The Lodge bar on Orange Avenue after receiving reports of a fight at the establishment.
According to investigators, the bouncer was stabbed by a customer, who has been identified as 25-year-old Eric Sandhaus, during an apparent altercation that started when the bouncer attempted to escort Sandhaus and his brother out of the bar.
During the incident, police say Eric Sandhaus stabbed the bouncer, Milton Torres, once in the chest with a knife. Torres was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Both brothers, Eric and Craig Sandhaus were arrested and taken to the Orange County jail after the incident. Eric is facing a second degree murder charge, while Craig faces charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing.
