APOPKA, Fla.,None — Three men are dead after a truck driving the wrong way collided with a car in Apopka, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities are trying to figure out why that truck was driving the wrong way.
The 911 calls came in just before 1:00 am. When crews arrived at the crash site on Orange Blossom Trail at Sprint Boulevard (see map) they said they found a fiery scene.
They said the driver of the Chevy pickup truck hit a Toyota Corolla with two passengers inside, flipped and burst into flames.
The driver of the Corolla, 21-year-old Charles Richard Diaz III, and the passenger, 21-year-old Daniel Francis Morgan, both of Apopka, were killed.
"We found the car on fire and one with severe front end damage," said Brett Wasmund, of the Orange County Fire and Rescue.
Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of the pickup truck was driving the wrong way, northbound in the southbound lanes of Orange Blossom Trail. He was burned during the crash and has not been identified.
"[It's] unknown why the vehicle was on the other side of the road but they did hit head-on, causing the impact and collision," said FHP Trooper Stephen Rando.
Officials said when they got on scene everyone was still in their cars. Crews said it took nearly three hours to get everyone out.
"The speed limit out on this road is going to be a higher speed, so the impact here is going to be consistent with that speed," said Rando.
Troopers said that there was no initial indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
