Seminole County officials to hold press conference on COVID-19 cases

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Officials in Seminole County are set to hold a press conference Monday to provide an update on COVID-19 within the county.

Florida health officials said there have been 2,366 cases of coronavirus in Seminole County as of Sunday.

Details of the 2 p.m. briefing have not yet been released.

Orange County and Daytona Beach have both issued face mask mandates in an effort to promote better safety measures.

Gov. DeSantis has said that he will not issue a statewide face mask mandate.
