Some female workers at two Daytona Beach restaurants said male managers grabbed them, insulted them and spied on them when they changed into their uniforms.
Five former Ker's WingHouse servers said they are filing a lawsuit. The women accuse their male bosses of creating a sexually hostile environment.
The women and the managers no longer work at Ker's WingHouse.
They told Channel 9 that federal investigators looked into their complaints and told the women they had probable cause to file a lawsuit.
While they are seeking lost wages, their attorney said they don't want the alleged harassment to happen to others.
The servers claim they suffered years of sexual harassment and abuse while working at two different Ker's WingHouse restaurants in Daytona Beach.
"The type of conduct that happened at these two locations of the WingHouse is sexual harassment and really abuse by the letter of the law," said attorney Kelly Chanfrau.
The 105-page lawsuit includes more than 20 allegations of sexual harassment. It even describes a peephole, allegedly used to spy on the women as they changed at a WingHouse location.
Chanfrau described alleged abuse that took place.
"Profanities, yelling at women, belittling the women -- it got so bad that the women were then assaulted, hit with trays," Chanfrau said.
The suit claims the women were touched and groped by managers on more than one occasion.
The suit also states that one time an employee was dragged, and had her hair pulled out by a manager.
Chanfrau said the women, more than once, reported the abuse.
A spokesperson for Ker's WingHouse said they have a hotline for reporting sexual harassment and the company claims it has no record of complaints.
"The hotline is posted throughout the restaurant, it's in their handbook, it's in their training manual. The staff is a priority for us. We don't ever want them to feel like they aren't comfortable in our work environment," said Ker's WingHouse marketing director Melanie Rattanachane.
A Ker's WingHouse representative said the company just learned of the lawsuit and the company's attorneys have not formally responded.
