ORLANDO, Fla — Thanksgiving is fast approaching and cutting the turkey is an important part of the meal and the day.
If you’re the one who carves the turkey at Thanksgiving, a local couple is helping you step up your carving game.
Local Orlando resident, Kim Burney, will appear tonight on ABC’s Shark Tank to pitch her new electric carving knife that looks like a chain saw, called the Mighty Carver.
“I kind of at one point, just started picking everyone’s brains that I knew. I said, Hey, you know, if you could cut your turkey with a chainsaw, would you?” Burney said, “Would you like to do that? And they were like, sure.”

Burney had to keep the idea under wraps before her appearance on Shark Tank, and tonight she is ready to reveal her idea to the world.
“I just couldn’t believe we were actually doing it, especially because we couldn’t tell anyone. That was the hardest part of all, not telling our kids, not telling our secretary, not telling anybody what we were doing.” Burney said.
Burney, along with her family and friends, plans to watch their appearance on Shark Tank from a local sports bar tonight.
You can watch it right here on Channel 9 to see if they land a deal with the Sharks, tonight at 8:00 p.m.
