The Department of Children and Families is investigating an incident involving a child at a Brevard County Walmart.
Shoppers at the Titusville store on Cheney Highway noticed a 1-year-old child all alone in a car in the parking lot late Sunday night.
They called police, who found the mother inside the store shopping.
She was given a ticket for leaving the toddler alone.
The child was not hurt.
