ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide after three family members were found dead inside a home Wednesday.
Deputies responded Sept. 30 to the 1200 block of Courtney Chase Circle for a well-being check.
When deputies entered the residence, they found a 17-year-old male and female deceased in the living room.
Both had suffered multiple stab wounds, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The victims were later identified as 17-year-old twins Carlo Montiel Infantino and Melanie Montiel Infantino.
A third person, identified as Ivan Montiel Roa, the father of Carlo and Melanie, was found deceased in the master bathroom.
Detectives currently believe Roa killed his two children before taking his own life, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released additional details at this time.
