2 teenagers arrested in connection to stabbing, robbery

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County deputies arrested two teenagers accused of robbing and stabbing a man during a drug deal.

Deputies arrested Jonathan Wilson, 17, and Alyssa Newton, 17, in connection to Friday night’s robbery.

Deputies said the suspects met the victim at a pedestrian overpass on Red Bug Lake Road near Notting Pines Way for a drug deal.

Detectives said Wilson pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, who was later taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Deputies spotted a trail of blood at the scene indicating someone else may have been hurt in the scuffle.

They checked nearby hospitals and found Wilson had admitted himself into an emergency room, because he was injured in the fight as well.

Newton was arrested on robbery charges while Wilson is facing charges of attempted homicide, robbery and aggravated battery.

Both are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
