MARION COUNTY, Fla.,None — A Marion County judge has ruled that two teenagers accused in the torture and slaying of another teen will be tried separately.
Kyle Hooper, 17, and Amber Wright, 15, went before a judge on Wednesday.
The judge delayed a ruling for a third man, 20-year-old Justin Soto.
Prosecutors said the three teens, along with two others, lured 15-year-old Seath Jackson into a house last April, killed him, then dismembered his body before burning his remains.
All three are charged with first-degree murder.
