OCALA, Fla. — Several people suffered minor injuries in three separate crashes that happened minutes within one another in Ocala.
The first crash involved two vehicles in the intersection of Southeast 17th Street and Southeast 18th Avenue. The crash caused an SUV to flip, and firefighters had to use a Jaws of Life-like device to remove the driver.
Crews said the driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two occupants of the other vehicle involved were treated at the scene.
While firefighters were working the scene, two other vehicle collisions happened, one along Southeast 18th Avenue, and the other in the 2200 block of Southeast 17th Street.
Neither collision resulted in serious injuries.
