VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Volusia County man accused of molesting multiple children was caught in Port Orange.
Michael McCabe was arrested in Port Orange on Saturday, a day after deputies announced that he was being sought in a number of child molestation cases.
Investigators said McCabe befriended needy families by claiming he was homeless.
Many of the families took him in and allowed him to babysit and do handiwork.
Investigators identified four young victims, but believe there may be more.
McCabe is being held in jail without bond.
