, Fla. — Some students with Cornerstone Charter Academy will get to be part of a new public service announcement aimed at educating children about street safety.

The school was one of eight schools that took part in the contest sponsored by Best Foot Forward and Alert Today Florida.

As the winner of the contest, students from the school will participate in a production class with Hollywood cinematographer Tammy Roebuck and actor Daniel Roebuck.
Students will then film an official PSA based on their entry, which will feature music by Orlando-based musician Mr. Richard.

The pilot initiative was designed to engage street safety among high school students, while encouraging creativity.
