LADY LAKE, Fla. — A woman wanted on an active Lake County warrant was arrested after a brief foot chase across a Lady Lake golf course, according to police.
Lady Lake police said an officer approached Teddie Rose Morris, but she ran onto the nearby course. Body-camera video shows the officer pursuing Morris before taking her into custody.
Morris was arrested on the outstanding warrant and additionally charged with resisting an officer without violence.
Jail records list two counts of criminal use of personal identification information, dealing in stolen property and petit retail theft with two or more prior convictions.
Morris was taken to the Lake County Jail without further incident. Her total bond was set at $3,500.
Morris is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
