BREVARD COUNTY, Fla — The Brevard County Department of Health has partnered with Nomi Health Inc. to open a COVID-19 testing site starting next week.

An appointment must be made and they will start testing Monday, Aug. 30, from noon to 5 p.m. Then starting on Tuesday, Aug 31, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Testing is available to residents who are symptomatic and asymptomatic.

The new site will provide an option for Brevard County residents who have been having trouble getting a COVID-19 test due to high demand.

Some residents wait days for an appointment at a pharmacy or are forced to drive to another county in order to get tested.
