TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A 29-year-old man accused of shooting and killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend will stay in jail.
A Brevard County judge denied Quentin Woodruff bond Saturday morning on second-degree murder charges.
Woodruff had been on the run for more than a month, but that came to an end when officers arrested him Friday night at a motel on U.S. 1 in Port St. John.

“I truly want to thank our citizens. They loaded Crimeline with a lot of tips that assisted,” said Sgt. Victor Rodriguez, of the Titusville Police Department.
Police said he was arrested without incident Friday.
“It took him a little but to come out but he decided to come out peacefully,” said Rodriguez.
Police said on June 30, Woodruff shot and killed 24-year-old Brandee Kelley as she stood behind a sliding glass door at the Emerald Place apartments in Titusville.
Three weeks later, SWAT members surrounded a home in Mims, searching for Woodruff after investigators received information that he was inside the home.
No one was inside the house.
Woodruff is also facing charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and shooting into a building.
He is scheduled for another court appearance at the end of the month.
