BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Hundreds of students at Brevard County’s Enterprise Elementary school went back to the classroom Monday after being shut down for deep cleaning following confirmed coronavirus cases.
Brevard County Public Schools closed the school for three days last week after COVID-19 cases were reported.

District officials said they put a custodial team to work, to deep-clean and disinfect the campus.
On Sunday, they announced Enterprise Elementary would reopen as planned.
As for the virus on campus, school officials said the Department of Health notified all families of children who were in close contact with the people who tested positive for the coronavirus.

Everyone effected will have to quarantine for 14 days.
Students and staff not contacted by the Department of Health can return to school.
This is the second school shutdown because of COVID-19 in Brevard County. The other was Golfview Elementary.
