Brevard County early numbers outpacing 2016 election, officials say

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — So far, 172,000 Brevard County residents have already cast their ballots in the 2020 election.

The Supervisor of Elections told Eyewitness News that the early voting numbers are easily outpacing what the office saw last presidential election.

On Friday afternoon, the number of Brevard County’s registered voters who had cast their ballot went from 37% to 38%.

Brevard, Indian River, Martin and Volusia counties will host a Souls to the Polls event ahead of election day.
