Port Canaveral voted best U.S. cruise homeport for third consecutive year

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — Port Canaveral is relatively quiet this week after a record-breaking holiday travel season.

Port officials are also celebrating a prestigious honor.

Port Canaveral was just voted the best U.S. cruise homeport for the third consecutive year.

That announcement came during the Cruise Hive’s annual Cruise Ship Awards.

A record 57,000 cruise passengers are scheduled to pass through the port this Saturday.
