• Cocoa Beach condo balcony collapses


    COCOA BEACH, Fla. - A balcony on a Cocoa Beach condominium complex collapsed Monday.

    The third-floor balcony broke loose, swinging down onto the second-story balcony below.

    The incident happened at the Villa Verde complex off South Atlantic Avenue.

    Furniture on the lower balcony was destroyed and a window was shattered, but no one was injured.

    The condos were built in 2006.
