Cold front bringing storms across central Florida

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A big spring cold front is moving in and bringing heavy rain with it.

Channel 9 meteorologist Brian Shields said storms, some strong at times, will bring heavy rain across central Florida during the evening commute. Winds could gust to over 50 mph at times.

The storms should move through quickly and clear out Friday evening.

Cooler weather will move in, and by Saturday morning temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s across the area, Shields said.
