Cook says he stabbed attacker while waiting at bus stop

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A cook waiting at a bus stop in Orange County said he was attacked early Tuesday.

Investigators said the cook was on International Drive just south of Sand Lake Road when the incident happened.

Authorities said a man confronted the cook, who then pulled out a knife. The attacker was hospitalized, said investigators.

Officers said the cook was cooperating with detectives, and they believe the cook was defending himself.
