ORLANDO, Fla. — The I-Drive 360 complex opened to the public Monday, including the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and the Orlando Sea Life Aquarium.
Orange County Mayor Theresa Jacobs called the grand opening Eye Drive Day.
"From a financial standpoint and a job standpoint, it's a huge boost, but besides that, it's just what it adds to I-Drive. It's phenomenal," Jacobs said.

Dozens checked out celebrities in the wax museum, underwater creatures at Sea Life Orlando and the 360-degree view of Orlando from 400 feet in the air.
"It's going to be part of our significant increase from 97 million to over a 100 million tourists this year. Let's think about that: every 85 tourists, there is another job," Governor Rick Scott said.
Both tourists and locals came out for the grand opening of the complex.
"It's really nice to see something like this accessible and not overly crowded. I'm glad to see that people are out here, but it's in a great neighborhood away from the parks, so you don't have to compete for parking or with too many tourists, but I think it's a great location," said Orlando resident Sheila Santiago.
A Ben & Jerry's ice cream store recently opened at the complex and officials said more development is expected.
