VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Police arrested a woman they said stabbed a man in the neck in Daytona Beach Monday.
Investigators said Kala Baxter stabbed the man at the Ridgewood Food Mart on Ridgewood Avenue.
Baxter told police she stabbed the man in self-defense after he punched her, following an argument.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said Baxter had 14 grams of marijuana with her when she was arrested.
