DCF investigating its contact with parents after Kissimmee baby found severely abused

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Department of Children and Families is investigating its prior contact with two parents, who are accused of abusing their 4-month-old baby.

Mouna Mrichcha and Juan Snow were arrested after Kissimmee police discovered bruises, fractures and scratches on the baby girl’s body.

Police said the baby also suffered from broken bones and burns.

A DCF spokesperson said the agency is looking into whether or not all appropriate actions were taken in the previous investigation of the parents.

The baby and two other children are in protective custody.
