Deputies investigate shooting at Señor Frogs on International Drive

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.,None — Orange County deputies are investigating a shooting that happened at the new Señor Frogs restaurant on International Drive early Sunday morning.

Deputies say a security guard was shot inside the establishment around 1:00 a.m. A cell phone picture sent to Eyewitness News shows emergency crews behind the restaurant shortly after the shooting.

Officials say the security guard was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body, according to deputies.

Marcello Botard witnessed the shooting and told WFTV he chased after the gunman and tackled him a few hundred yards away.

"I just panicked, pure adrenaline. I don't even know how to explain it, it was pretty intense," Botard said.

The alleged shooter, identified as 37-year-old Terence Rush, was arrested and booked into the Orange County jail.

Rush is facing three felony charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Señor Frogs is a restaurant and bar that opened in early January on International Drive, not far from Sand Lake Road.
