ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Things will look a little different at Disney Springs when it partially reopens Wednesday.

“Coronavirus

On Tuesday, Disney announced the shopping and entertainment district will be open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Driving into Disney Springs, the first difference you’ll notice is you can only park in the Lime and Orange garages. Once those garages fill up, nobody else will be allowed in.

You can also get in at a shared entrance used by visitors coming in from the pedestrian bridge or rideshare drop-off.

Cast members and guests will both be required to wear face masks, with the exception of those under 3 years old.

“We have an incredible group of cast members circulating throughout the property to assist them in this way. It’s a really exciting time here,” said Matt Simon, vice president of Disney Springs.

Temperature checks will also be required. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or above will not be allowed in.

Around the park, you’ll notice markers on the ground guiding both the flow of traffic, and reminding people to stay six feet apart.

The phrasing on the markers are different. Disney said it plans to monitor which markers guests prefer, and will adjust in time. There will be signs and announcements reminding people of the new rules.

However, Disney officials made it clear online: “By visiting Disney Springs you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19″ because there will be a crowd.
