LONGWOOD, Fla. — Central Floridians can learn more about the state’s wildlife during a free event at Wekiva Island this week.
“Florida’s Fascinating Wildlife with Don Philpott” will explore the prehistoric creatures, animals, birds, plants and habitats that make Florida unique.
The talk will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Wekiva Island, located at 1014 Miami Springs Drive in Longwood.
Admission is free, but advance registration is requested.
