Environmental groups file lawsuit against FAA over SpaceX rocket launches

BOCA CHICA, Tx. — The Federal Aviation Administration is facing a lawsuit from environmental groups over SpaceX rocket launches on the Texas coast.

Including test missions like the recent Starship launch at Boca Chica.

That rocket eventually exploded, showering debris down on the surrounding area.

The lawsuit claims that the FAA is failing to protect the environmentally sensitive area, migratory birds and endangered sea turtles.
